OUR PROGRAMS
AFTER SCHOOL
Freedom4U/Hearts Respond will provide an after school environment for teens to receive support with homework, study and develop relationships in a safe, supervised community. These will be taking place Tuesday-Thursday, from 3:30pm-6:00pm with Highschool and Middle School Students attending. Please have a parent or guardian fill out the consent form below to join! If you are a teen interested in supporting these programs by becoming a tutor and community leader, please apply below at the second link.
CAREER PATH - PODS
PODS is a fun new group project for high school students to participate in to explore future career paths! Groups of students will be working collaboratively to create, develop, research, plan, organize, recruit, coordinate, and lead others teens in their search for meaningful possible jobs. With the benefits of learning about career paths, students involved will be able to receive letters of reference or recommendation for character and achievement, volunteer hours and service learning opportunities.
SERVICE LEADERSHIP
In Freedom4U's Service Leadership Program, teens can gain important leadership skills of writing, speaking and organizing while leading other teens in a service area they care about. The service area can be a project or cause that is benevolent to other people, the culture, to an organization or the environment. We have programs in creative arts, life skills, leadership and service.
CHANGES LIFE SKILLS
The Freedom4U Changes Groups support and teach life skills to teens and parents. The Changes Groups uses evidenced-based material, peer mentors, healthy activities and service learning to guide teens and parents toward healthy coping skills.
